Studio Reset

with kerry da silva Cox

Begins May 13th, 2023

This course not so much of a “course” as a realigning. You think you know what you’re supposed to do, but somewhere down the line, things got muddy. Maybe you’re unsure of direction, you lost your mojo, or you just want some help getting reorganized. If so, this group is for you.

We’ll provide a 6-week structured container (and follow up session) for you to clarify your goals and get realigned in your studio practice. This offering provides resources, aims to inspire, and will help with accountability. This group will work best for visual artists of any kind. Sound like it’s for you? Join us.

About this course:

This course takes inspiration from the phrase “Creative Chiropractic”, borrowed from the book The Artist’s Way. Over six weeks, we’ll unpack our practices and meet eachother where we are at. We’ll discuss what’s working and what’s not, and see what our frustrations are telling us about or goals. Using guided excercises as well as practical instruction in organizational and business practices, we’ll redefine our creative goals. Topics will include: organization, prioritization, identifying your goals honestly, and longevity of practice.

Students will complete weekly tasks based on the topics covered in the sessions and will have an individual troubleshooting session during the course. We will regroup one month after the end of the course to check in.
